The first Three Bridges Race of 2024 saw 32 runners descend onto the Albert Embankment, with 3141 Colin Harris's first time as Race Director.

Firstly commiserations to Peter Torre 2882, who fell and hit his nose.

Also we heard that Jerry Lockspier 3424 had an incident on the course, misjudging the steps at the turn round at Lambeth Bridge, and hurt his ankle. Again, we hope he recovers quickly.

Volunteers were provided by Karmen Pardoe 3064 on the timing, and Mark Taylor 1411 and Nina Spataru's sister - Joy, on numbers. As ever, without our volunteers, we wouldn't be able to put the race on, so thank you very much.

The Hanscomb Trophy was won by Peter Dry, awarded to him by a rather blood-sodden Peter Torre.
