How to use the Corre Libre timing app
If you have an Android phone download the Corre Libre app from the Play Store https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.correlibre.app_prototype&pcampaignid=web_share
Download the Waves data and upload it into the app
Open the app and go into Timer
At the top, press the down arrow to get the menu and then press Staggered Start
Press GO to start the race. It must be started at precisely 12.25. The Race Director will start the large stopwatch at the same time.
Then leave it to scroll through the waves. At ten seconds before each wave starts, call Wave X in ten second, then 5 seconds, then Wave X GO. There is a gap of 15 seconds between each wave.
The race director may supply you with a list of runners that have signed up for the race, but this is just for your information - we are not calling runners to the start line - it is their own personal responsibility to get there on time. You may find that there are only a very few runners in the first five minutes who go off.
During the wave start, you can scroll up and down on the screen to see upcoming waves. The last runner will be started by 12.45.
When everyone has started, the app changes to finish mode. Touch the screen when each runner comes in.
The first runner will arrive at the finish at about 12.55. Most runners will finish within five minutes of each other.
When every runner has finished, press the three dots in the top right and then press stop.
Then share the data with the race director via WhatsApp. Go to the Timer Screen, press the Share button at the top (a triangle).
During the race, you must make sure your mobile is on Flight Mode to ensure you don't get disturbed.
